Electric Power Plants
An electric power plant is a facility containing prime movers, electric generators, and auxiliary equipment for converting mechanical, chemical, and/or fission energy into electric energy. This dataset contains a list of all known plants in Alaska and is compiled as part of ISER's Alaska Energy Statistics publication. Each plant is operated by a particular utility and serves one or more communities.
